  For this densely wooded lot in Miami Shores, the Client wanted to shape the house around and among existing trees to maximize the indoor-outdoor experience and capitalize on the mature tree canopy for shade and ambience. The proportions and massing of this two-story structure recede from the street front to maintain a respectful scale to its neighbors. Vegetative materials are as much a part of the palette as stone and stucco to invoke a garden-like procession from the entry, throughout the home, to the backyard expanse which extends the living experience across the full depth of the site.
